Desmond Tan is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha BioMedical. Desmond has demonstrated considerable business acumen with over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, cash flow and budget optimization. He served as a Managing Director for various companies and helped them to grow in different areas of Operation, Marketing and Staff Development.  

Desmond has experience in raising start-up funds and growth of business in the domestic and international markets.  He has demonstrated a good leadership in identifying business opportunities in forward/backward and horizontal/vertical integration strategies, services, and product innovations.  

Desmond has shown strong entrepreneurial leadership qualities with radical marketing and superior service delivery initiatives, by consistently surpassing P&L and service targets, utilising lean operating methods and incentive driven rewards for team achievement.  

Desmond holds an MBA from Victoria University (Australia). Mr. Tan has been conferred with the National Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) in 2020 for his extraordinary volunteering services in the public sector.
